Hi all! Maybe it is just my personal experience, but I am finding that my OBGYN does not really discuss the importance of nutrition in my pre-natal visits. It's obviously a given that what we put in our bodies during pregnancy, plays a huge part in the health of our unborn babies.
What have your experiences been regarding nutrition during your OBGYN visits? Does your doctor discuss it with you and do they make recommendations to help incorporate healthy foods into your diet during pregnancy? I have made some of my own lifestyle changes, one of which includes adding more fruits and vegetables into my diet. At 28 weeks pregnant, my skin is the clearest it has ever been, I find myself energized for the majority of the day, and my body, overall, just FEELS better!
I would love to discuss with other mommies/mommies-to-be how they have been feeling throughout their pregnancies, or even after.
